No One Should Ever Go Hungry

We nourish the bodies and help lift the spirits of
our neighbors in Hastings.

Hunger Exists in our Community

We might think of hunger as a global problem, but the truth is, more than 11 percent of residents right here in Hastings are food insecure, which means they often don’t know where they will get their next meal.

While hunger may hide in plain sight, we help fill the empty stomachs of individuals and families in our community.

How We Help Cure Hunger

Food Pantry  |  By Appointment Only: 402-463-0528
More than 11% of residents in Hastings and the surrounding area are food insecure – meaning they don’t always know where or how they will get their next meal. Individuals and families who are experiencing hunger or food insecurity are welcome to call to make an appointment to visit our food pantry. We help make ends meet by providing canned and packaged good and other staples.

Summer Mobile Feeding Program  |  July through Mid-August
Many children who receive free or reduced-fee lunches at school during the schoolyear struggle with hunger and food insecurity during the summer. Our mobile canteen parks in different locations in Hastings every evening, six days a week to distribute free meals on a first-come, first-served basis to those in need. We typically serve more than 10,000 meals during this six-week summer food program.
