The Salvation Army seeks to walk alongside households to address energy crises. The Customer Assistance Fund (CAF), in partnership with CenterPoint Energy and facilitated by The Salvation Army Indiana Division offers help to current CenterPoint Energy customers with bill payment assistance and case management services. The goal of these services is to support household financial stability and support the customer in achieving goals they have set for themselves.

The program is available to CenterPoint Energy customers who may fall into the income - eligible guidelines listed in the chart below, which is more inclusive than most federal assistance programs.
