To learn a bit more about Tami, we have her answers to our 10 Questions.
How would you describe youself to a new friend? Open and transparent?
What is something you would like people to know about you? I naturally prefer to be in the background making a difference; being in the spotlight can be intimidating.
What is something fun on your bucket list you want to make sure you do? Be available for my grandkids and family. I've been a workaholic for so long, I have missed out on a lot. I want to change that.
What are you good at that might surprise others? I startied sewing my own clothes when I was in 7th grade; I also sewed bridesmaid dresses, prom dresses and wedding dresses to make extra money while in school.
What kind of kid were you? Invisible. I was the quiet kid no one knew was there.
Who is a personal hero of yours? I don't really have a hero; I do have a Savior. He has guided my life (sometimes I have been hard headed and He's had to use the Dinozzo Slap to my head)
What is a guilty pleasure? Spending time with sons and grandkids and having quiet time to myself to read/walk/recharge.
What do you wish you knew how to do? I wish I knew how to say "no". I tend to let my heart lead instead of my head.
What is a community issue you especially care about? Reasonable cost housing for seniors and young families. I have this vision/nightmare to build a tiny home community that uses solar power to lessen their housing cost so they can better provide for their families and themselves
