Affordable Connectivity Program Event with Cricket Wireless
The Salvation Army of Hannibal and Cricket Wireless will host an event to register community members for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) on Friday, September 2, from 1-4pm at The Salvation Army Family Service Office and Family Store in Hannibal located at 200A Steamboat Bend Shopping Center (just south of County Market).
ACP is a federal program that provides broadband service to eligible households. Participants in the ACP can reduce their monthly wireless bill by $30. When approved for the program, participants can go to Cricket Wireless, located at 3523 Stardust Drive in Hannibal, to finalize their application and receive a new call phone at no cost.
Applicants receiving any of the following benefits will be approved to participate in this program:
- Lifeline
- National School Lunch Program
- Pell Grant
- SNAP Food Assistance
- Medicaid
- FPHA- Federal Public Housing Assistance
- Veterans Pension & Survivors Benefit
- Tribal Program
- WIC
The Salvation Army Family Store will also have a Mystery Sale on this date. Snacks will be available to the public.
