What is your story? How did you end up in Milwaukee?

I was born in Green Bay, WI (avid Packer fan, of course)! I attended college at UWGB and moved to Milwaukee after graduation.

What keeps you in Milwaukee/What do you like best about Milwaukee?

The opportunities and the people – I love this city! There are different ways to get involved and it’s neat to see various individuals contribute to making Milwaukee the best it can be!

Favorite spot in the city?

I love the lakefront – the view never gets old and makes me smile often!

Milwaukee festival you are eager to attend each year?

Summerfest!

What drew you to Echelon?

As a former educator in the public sector, I am very aware of the vast needs in our community. After deciding to switch careers, I wanted to get involved in the community in other ways to help better our city. Echelon is a great fit as I'm able to help make a difference with various individuals across our city while meeting young professionals.

Share with us a memorable experience you have had thus far with the organization.

Red Tie in the Sky – cause who doesn’t like to party and dance the night away in a skywalk?

What struggles do you see our city dealing with? What can our generation do to help?

While Milwaukee is a great place to live, we still have many struggles to face and overcome as a community. As a member of Echelon, I hope to help overcome some of the struggles via volunteering and educating those around me including the future generations. Not only do we need to be educated, but we need to act to create change to better our city as a whole.
