Coats For Kids

About

The Salvation Army's Coats for Kids program provides coats and winter accessories to children in Milwaukee. All winter coats are donated and collected in collaboration with FOX6 News.

Coats are picked up at various drop-off sites throughout the city and are delivered to The Salvation Army where they are sorted by community volunteers and made ready for cleaning through the donated services of ITU.

Registration/Distribution

Coats will be distributed on a walk-in basis until March 29, 2024 at our Distribution Center Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

What to donate

We accept monetary donations or in-kind donations following items:

• New or gently used coats, both children and adult sizes
• New hats, mittens and scarves can be given along with your coat donations
• Make a monetary donation online.

Volunteer Opportunities:
Your organization can volunteer to help sort the coats for cleaning. Please sign up online.
