Emergency Services

The Emergency Services program helps clients meet basic needs in emergency situations. We strive to provide clients with up-to-date information and referral resources available through various agencies throughout the community.

Material assistance may be provided to individuals and families facing emergency expenses due to:

• Illness
• Death
• Loss of employment
• Other crisis situations

The Salvation Army's services are provided based on an assessment of:

• Individual need
• Income and expenses
• Eligibility for public assistance
• Initiative for financial recovery
• Availability of community resources
• Salvation Army funds

In order to be eligible for the Emergency Services program, a person must be:

• 18 or older
• Able to provide verification of identification, income and financial need
