ABOUT
There are thousands of children who rely on free or reduced lunch during the school year, and when school ends many would go hungry without help.
Feed The Kids is a 10-week summer meals program for children living in Milwaukee’s underserved neighborhoods. About 1,500 meals are distributed Monday-Friday, June-August, to 21 different neighborhoods, parks, and street corners on Milwaukee’s north and south side. Feed the Kids Monday-Friday starting on June 20, 2023 and will end on Friday, August 25, 2023. See below for route information.
The meal consists of a sandwich, fruit, snack, and juice or water.
The Salvation Army has provided more than 2 million meals through the Feed The Kids program since 1990.

The cost per lunch is $2.10 ($2.50 with snack). We accept monetary donations or in-kind donations following items:

Volunteer Opportunities:
