WHAT IS YOUR STORY? HOW DID YOU END UP IN MILWAUKEE?

I grew up in the small, rural town of Gillett, WI. I grew up showing beef cattle and spent most of my time growing up in agriculture. I attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and graduated with my BS in Communications with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in journalism. After graduation, I moved to Milwaukee for a position with an animal nutrition company on their marketing team and have been here since!

WHAT KEEPS YOU IN MILWAUKEE/WHAT DO YOU LIKE BEST ABOUT MILWAUKEE?

Home is where the heart – and my loved ones are. Aside from that, Milwaukee is a great city to explore and it is always a good time when uncovering a new spot to patronize.Coming from a small town, I love being in a city. The possibilities are endless when looking for something to do or somewhere new to go in Milwaukee.

FAVORITE SPOT IN THE CITY?

The Public Market. I love walking around and seeing what’s new!

MILWAUKEE FESTIVAL YOU ARE EAGER TO ATTEND EACH YEAR?

Bastille Days!

WHAT DREW YOU TO ECHELON?

The fact that the organization is working together to do something meaningful and impactful for the community and this is truly something people do for the good of others.

WHAT STRUGGLES DO YOU SEE OUR CITY DEALING WITH? WHAT CAN OUR GENERATION DO TO HELP?

Milwaukee and all cites are experiencing a lot of change. I believe our generation can support this change and help people through changes that could affect them through our different communication outlets, such as social media platforms, blogs, eNewsletters and so on.
