The Salvation Army To Distribute Hot Dogs To Milwaukee Children in Need
Feed The Kids summer meals program reaches third week
WHAT: The Salvation Army is trading out sandwiches for hot dogs! This Wednesday, volunteers will distribute hot dogs via our canteen (mobile kitchen) to children in Milwaukee's poorest neighborhoods. The Feed The Kids summer meals program will last until August 24, 2018. So far, The Salvation Army has served 4,760 meals to children this summer. Traditionally, lunches are served from a large passenger van and include a sandwich, fruit, snack and milk.
WHEN/WHERE: Wednesday, July 11
11:50 a.m. – 12:10 p.m.: Area of 3012 N. Holton St.
12:15 p.m. – 12:35 p.m.: Area of Rufus King Middle School, 121 E Hadley St.
12:40 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.: Carver Park, 911 W. Brown St.
