The Salvation Army To Recognize Volunteers At Annual Appreciation Luncheon
MILWAUKEE COUNTY - The Salvation Army of Milwaukee County will present 13 recognition awards at its annual volunteer appreciation luncheon this week.
The celebration will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (awards begin at 12:15 p.m.) on Friday, June 24, 2022 at the Brown Deer Park Boat House, 7835 N. Green Bay Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53209.
Our army of volunteers gave more than 6,900 hours combined to the programs and services of The Salvation Army of Milwaukee County in 2021.
Those receiving awards are as follows:
2021 Doing the Most Good Award: U.S. Bank, RISE 2020, Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin
2021 Volunteer of the Year – Citadel Corps: Patrick Glavey
2021 Volunteer of the Year – Cold Spring Corps: Jody Kode
2021 Volunteer of the Year – Oak Creek Corps: Terry Tregellas
2021 Volunteer of the Year – West Corps: Sandy Eagle
2021 Volunteer of the Year – Emergency Lodge: Dr. Zane Prewitt
2021 Chaplain of the Year – Pastor C.A. Lewis
2021 Service Club of the Year – Oak Creek Lions Club
2021 Youth Group Bell Ringers of the Year – Oak Creek High School National Honor Society
2021 Celebrity Bell Ringing Champions – Suzanne Spencer and Carl Deffenbaugh with FOX6
2021 Chaplain/MPD Kettle Challenge Champions – MPD District #4
