What is your story? How did you end up in Milwaukee?Photo Coming Soon

I grew up in the Muskego suburbs and fell in love with the downtown Milwaukee area when I went to Marquette University for Public Relations, Marketing and HR. Being fortunate enough to have an amazing internship with BID #21 in college, I found myself enamored with the city and all the great people, places and of course events it has to offer!

What keeps you in Milwaukee/What do you like best about Milwaukee?

Because I’m an event girl at heart, I think that one of my favorite aspects of our city is that there is always something going on. The people in Milwaukee, young professionals in particular, have such a passion for where they call home. Collaboration among all mediums is huge and creates some amazing experiences for those that are willing to get out and enjoy the Milwaukee culture.

Favorite spot in the city?

I’m a huge foodie, so really trying any of the new restaurants in town!

Milwaukee festival you are eager to attend each year?

River Rhythms, who doesn’t love free concerts and great Riverwalk views.

What drew you to Echelon?

Volunteering has always been an avid part of my life. I was looking for a new organization that I could put my event passion behind, meet new people and make a difference in the community.

Share with us a memorable experience you have had thus far with the organization.

Co-chairing some of the amazing fundraising events. Milwaukee Goes Miami was not only a fun theme to engage young professionals, but also was incredibly eye-opening in teaching others about The Salvation Army and the impact this organization has in our communities.

What struggles do you see our city dealing with? What can our generation do to help?

Getting more involved with organizations like Echelon is such a big step in the right direction for making a difference in our city. I think there are countless causes that can be tackled, but making sure to carve out volunteer time isn’t always easy to do. Once you find a cause your passionate about, run with it and lend your talents to making a difference.
