Read below to learn how we help with basic needs that go unmet right here in our community.
Food Pantry
Families and individuals can come to us once a month to receive groceries including fresh produce, canned goods, meat, and dairy items (as available).
Utility Assistance
Families facing shut off notices from their utility company can request assistance. If the amount is more than we are able to cover, we will help you collaborate with local agencies to help avoid a shut down.
Clothing Assistance
Clothing for families in a financial crisis can be provided for from our Thrift stores. Special emphasis is placed on this need during back to school season. Over 300 children received clothes for school this last year.
Disaster Services
The Salvation Army serves victims and first responders that are involved in disaster situations. Specific help is based on the nature of the disaster but might include financial assistance, food provision (served from our mobile food unit), emergency shelter, and on-going case management.
Christmas Assistance
Families may be provided clothing, toys, and food during the holiday season.
