The Salvation Army operates youth programs in low and moderate income neighborhoods across the Mankato area. These programs provide children with a safe place to play and learn in a supervised and constructive environment. The Salvation Army will continue to make an effort in the local communities to provide these learning opportunities.
Back-to-School Supplies
Our back-to-school program provides kids with the necessary supplies to return to school. We collect basic school supplies and distribute them in August to families in need with children attending grades K-12 in Blue Earth County and North Mankato only. We do not provide school supplies for preschool or college age levels. Annually, the program provides supplies to 500 children.
To qualify for back-to-school assistance, you must visit our office at 700 S. Riverfront Dr. and bring a photo ID and proof of assistance.
Bundle Me Warm Winter Apparel
