The Salvation Army operates youth programs in low and moderate income neighborhoods surrounding the city of Rochester. These programs provide children with a safe place to play and learn in a supervised and constructive environment. The Salvation Army will continue to make an effort in the local communities to provide these learning opportunities.
Youth Character-Building and Music Programs
From weekly programming to summer camps, The Salvation Army is dedicated to providing opportunities for area youth to connect with others and grow with encouragement. Our teen ministry and character-building programs meet Tuesday nights from 4 to 7 p.m. We have a variety of music opportunities for youth including a band, singing, guitar and puppets.
