We Care for the Mind, Body and Soul

Let us come together to worship God and care for our neighbors in need.

Give Now

Spiritual Growth, Fellowship and Worship

We invite all people across all walks of life to join us in worship, prayer and other ways to care for the soul. Our doors are always open for you.

Our officers are ordained pastors who are trained to offer spiritual counseling and a listening ear. They will provide guidance based on Scripture and will pray with you as you walk through a difficult season. Whether you are facing the loss of a loved one, are working through legal or financial difficulties, are struggling with illness or simply need to share your burdens, you will always find someone ready and willing to listen.

We Offer a Shoulder to Lean On

"What a privilege it is to serve God through the mission and ministry of The Salvation Army. Our goal here at Omaha Citadel is to be vibrant and diligent reflections of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We do this by giving, serving, teaching, gathering and going into all the world to preach the Gospel and meet human needs in Jesus' name." - Major Trevor McClintock, Omaha Citadel Pastor

Christian Education

Junior Soldiers
Junior Soldiers are typically between the ages of seven and 13 and are considered the next generation of Salvation Army members. The aim of the Junior Soldier program is to ensure that children involved in The Salvation Army have personally received Jesus Christ as their Savior and are discipled in biblical truths, life applications and Salvation Army principles and practices. Meetings take place weekly during the Sunday worship service at 11 a.m.

Corps Cadets
Corps Cadets is a training program for pre-teens and teens who are enrolled as Junior or Senior Soldiers at the Citadel worship and community center. This discipleship course offers cadets training in evangelism, as well as opportunities to grow spiritually, develop leadership skills and broaden their knowledge of Salvation Army history. The overall goal is to prepare young people for a lifelong commitment to spiritual growth through a relationship with Jesus Christ and to discover ways to serve God through The Salvation Army. This group meets once per month on Sundays.
