Our local Veterans are often some of the most vulnerable to life challenges such as homelessness, mental health struggles, food insecurity & poverty.

Our SSVF program operates out of the Veteran Outreach Center, located at 416 NE Jefferson St.
Some of the services provided through this program include:
- Utility and/or Rent Deposits / Payment Assistance
- Specialized Information & Resource Referrals
- Bus Fare / Transportation Expenses
- Case Management
Please note that you are required to call or contact the Veterans Outreach Center before beginning the intake process.
Also, limitations on the services provided prevent SSVF from assisting with...
Mortgage Payments, Contract for Deed, Rent to Own, or Car Payments.
In order to begin your intake process, you will need:
- DD-214 Discharge Status
- VA ID Card
- Drivers License or State ID*
- Social Security Card*
- Verification of Income*
- Lease or Eviction Notice (If applicable)
*These materials need presented for all adults and/or children in a household
