Those who can DO. Those who can do more VOLUNTEER Image

Those who can DO. Those who can do more VOLUNTEER

Without volunteers, our work is impossible. We work groups and individuals to make a big difference in a few hours. Call Mike at 248-334-2407 x101.

Without volunteers, our work would be impossible.  From Chef Paul who donates time to oversee our Food Services to a homeschool group who puts food on pantry shelves, we rely on our volunteers for important, routine tasks.  From Driving to Sorting to Answering Phones, we could use your help this season.

ONGOING VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Clerical/Receptionist, with or without Data Entry:  Office hours, M-F.  Individual will answer phones and direct questions to our staff and other agencies, greet office guests and answer basic questions, help with filing or other paperwork.  May include computer-based data entry for volunteers with this skillset.

Mentoring:  Tuesday of Thursday evenings, weekly.  Programs don't change lives.  People change lives.  Developmental relationships are key to unlocking an individual's potential.  Our Youth Opportunities are built upon adult mentor relationships, and we are looking for individuals to partner with 2-4 kids in a project-based class that meets weekly.  Classes include STEM, Art, Culinary Arts, Music and more.

Food Box Drive-thru Helpers:  Every Thursday, we serve the community with food boxes in a drive through. Volunteers are needed from 11 AM to 1 PM to pack food boxes and load them into people's vehicles.

CHRISTMAS SEASON VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
