Create your own fundraiser to support a cause that's important to you, and provide hope to those in need in your community.
The assurance of ongoing revenue from recurring gifts empowers The Salvation Army to expand our services further and faster.
Our one-time opportunities are perfect for those who want a quick and easy way to make a difference. These include activities such as helping with an event, bell ringing or building food pantry boxes for a day.
Ongoing opportunities are designed for those who want to get involved on a regular basis. We’ll know you by your first name, and you’ll get to know the people in our programs. These include activities like working with youth, using your professional skills, working at disaster sites or wanting to help with one of our programs.
We can accommodate your group’s desire to do something good together – whether family, friends, coworkers, civic or church groups. Group volunteer activities are typically project-based or part of a larger event. Creating a group for Bell Ringing season is a great way for groups to help our their community.
Whatever you are passionate about – graphic design, organizational skills, fashion or something else – can most likely be leveraged as a volunteer. We always have opportunities ready to fill, but are also open to working with you to create opportunities that fit your time and talents. Volunteering can even be a way to further your professional connections – whether in our office setting or a board room as an advisory board member.
The Salvation Army of the Quad Cities is there for those most in need. The generosity of donors and the service of volunteers is vital to providing these much needed services. Please call Marissa Soliz, Development & Volunteer Coordinator at 563-324-4808 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org to get answers to your questions, donate or volunteer to help others.
