Housing Programs

Every person deserves a bed to sleep in at night.
Each year, The Salvation Army provides over 10 million nights of shelter to those in need.

How You Can Help

Shelter Program-  Our shelter program provides up to 30 days of shelter to families who are homeless. We offer financial assistance to cover emergency overnight housing costs or refer those facing housing and food insecurity to partner programs with emergency shelter services

Serving All Without Discrimination

In providing its programs and services to the homeless community, The Salvation Army is committed to accommodating all those in need without unlawful discrimination or harassment based on age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, marital status, disability, citizenship, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or any other characteristic in accordance with our capacity to help.

How We Help Prevent Homlessness

The Salvation Army Family Services is here for those facing a housing crisis. The goal of our program is to prevent homelessness, by providing assistance to those families facing eviction by providing one time relief to help with rent, or deposits. In addition, we provide temporary shelter for those families who are homeless. Please call our office at (563) 324-4808 to get answers to your questions.
