Salvation Army Rock County launches $590,000 Red Kettle campaign

 NOVEMBER 18, 2022  NEWS LOCAL

The Salvation Army Rock County launches it’s Christmas Red Kettle campaign with a goal of $590,000.

Major Tom McDowell says that represents a four percent increase over what was raised in 2021.

McDowell says volunteers and advisory board members will be manning a Red Kettle in the drive-thru at the Culver’s in Beloit Friday.

Culver’s owner Bill Lock has pledged to match the amount raised at all of the Red Kettles located in Beloit Friday.

Another kick-off event will be happening Saturday at beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Festival Foods in Janesville.
