Provide Housing

The Salvation Army brings hope to the homeless.

Each year, The Salvation Army provides over 10 million nights of lodging to those in need. Our group homes, emergency shelters, and transitional living centers provide housing, food, and overnight lodging for varying amounts of time to destitute families, the homeless, the displaced, and to youth where family care is undesirable or unavailable. Through our holistic approach to serving the whole person, we supplement every shelter service with emotional and spiritual support.

Transitional Housing Program: The Salvation Army Transitional Housing Program is a unique self-sufficiency program that addresses underlying issues related to homelessness. They do this by providing stable housing and on-going case management for 18 - 24 months. We serve homeless families with or without children.
