Join us for another summer of fun!

Day Camp runs from July 6th - August 14th, 2020. Day Camp 2020 is designed for boys & girls entering 1st grade up to those entering 6th grade in the fall.  Day Camp runs Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m with check-in beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Cost is $120/ week and includes all field trips and other activities. A 50% deposit is required at time of registration.

The SAL is not able to offer Latchkey this year.

The SAL is not able to offer the CIT program this year.

Day Camp 2020 has a capacity of 50 children.

Day Camp activities are conducted in 3 groups with an average of 16 campers:

  • Group 1: Those entering 1st & 2nd grade in the fall
  • Group 2: Those entering 3rd & 4th grade in the fall
  • Group 3: Those entering 5th & 6th grade in the fall

Due to the active nature of the day camp it is expected that children will be able to function independently at a level appropriate for their age.

Each week the children's activities will include swimming, arts & crafts, special events, and field trips!  Each camper is responsible to bring a cold lunch with them each day.

Transportation for field trips is provided by The SAL bus and rented buses from a reputable bus company, both of which will be driven by adults with the proper licenses.

Our Day Camp is staffed by caring adults that love day camp as much as your kids do!  There will be 2 counselors for each group.  All of our staff members are CPR/First Aid certified.

As part of our weekly curriculum, The SAL will be having a Bible Class, 2 sessions a week.  These sessions will teach truths from the Bible which will help the children in daily decision making, family life and friendships.

With the current Covid-19 situation, we want you to be well informed about how we will be operating this summer. Therefore, carefully read through our Parent Handbook to help you make an informed decision for your family. If you or your child has any trepidation in attending The SAL Day Camp 2020, we ask that you do not register. The SAL’s goal is not to be the cause of anxiety or fear, but to offer a chance for your children to have a safe and fun summer.
