Bell Ringing (Nov. 19 - Dec. 24)

Help make Christmas merrier for families across Sheboygan county by volunteering at the iconic Salvation Army red kettles.  Sign up to ring at any of the 19 Red Kettles located in Sheboygan, Sheboygan Falls, Plymouth, Howards Grove and Kohler. Volunteer shifts are 2 hours long with indoor or outdoor locations available. The more the merrier, so bring along your family, friends or coworkers and make this a  Christmas tradition. Christmas Toy Shoppe 

Adopt a Family Donor Drop Off: Greet community members and assist with the drop of toys and gifts for the Adopt a Family program. Must be at least 18 years old, able to lift 30 lbs, and comfortable being on your feet for the duration of the shift. 

  • Friday, December 6 from 10:30am - 2:00pm  FULL
  • Friday, December 6 from 2:00pm - 5:00pm  FULL

Toy Distribution: Greet parents/guardians and assist with the distribution of toys and gift for families in Sheboygan. Must be at least 18 years old, able to lift 30 lbs., and comfortable being on your feet for the duration of the shift.

  • Monday, December 9 from 3:00pm - 6:00pm FULL  
  • Wednesday, December 18  from 12:30am - 3:00pm FULL
  • Wednesday, December 18 from 3:00pm - 6:00pm  FULL

Toys for Tots Box Collection: Collect all of the toy donations and collection boxes from area businesses. Must be at least 18 years old, able to lift 30 lbs., and willing to use personal vehicle for delivery. Vehicle must be large enough to accommodate a 4 ft. tall box (van, truck, SUV).

Toys for Tots Transport Elf: Help unload full toy collection boxes and bags from delivery vehicles and move them from the receiving area to the lower level pop-up Toy Shoppe using carts and dollies. This is a very physical task and you must be at least 18 years of age, able to lift 30 lbs., able to lift 30 lbs., and comfortable being on your feet for the duration of the shift.

Toys for Tots Sorting: Organize and sort toy donations  to prepare the pop-up Toy Shoppe. Must be at least 18 years old, able to lift 30 lbs, and comfortable being on your feet for the duration of the shift

Toy Shopping:  Shop for children in our pop-up Toy Shoppe using lists provided by parents/guardians. Must be at least 18 years old, able to lift 30 lbs, and comfortable being on your feet for the duration of the shift.

  • Tuesday, December 17 from 12:00pm - 2:00pm FULL

Toy Tag & Bag Organizing:  Once all of the children in each family have been shopped for we need organizers to affix the proper tags on each bag and physically carry them to their designated spot for pick up. Must be at least 18 years old, able to lift 30 lbs, and comfortable being on your feet for the duration of the shift.
