"Hungry" is no way to spend childhood

Every day The Salvation Army helps cure hunger by providing nutritious meals to neighbors in need.

fighting hunger one meal at a time

Our Soup Kitchen serves lunch seven days a week - that's more than 2500 meals a month.

Feeding those in Need

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in ~ Matthew 25:35

How we together can work to cure hunger

The Salvation Army of Shelby County provides free meals to the community 7-days a week, along with serving meals to the children that attend our youth programs.  For many this might be the only meal that they get that day.  We have provided over 24, 000 meals in 2018.

Food Rescue

Do you work in a Restaurant and are overwhelmed by the amount of food thrown away? Want to reduce that waste? We would love to help you  rescuing that food and feeding it to those in need. We are health department approved and our cooks are ServSafe trained so we know how to handle those left overs.

Sunday Meals

Would your church/organization be interested in preparing and serving a meal on a Sunday? Check out the document below or contact our Head Cook Tiffany Baker or Program/Volunteer Coordinator Toni Streelman at 317/398-7421 to reserve your Sunday.
