One of our greatest need in the community is fighting hunger. One or our greatest need at The Salvation Army is keeping our pantry stocked.
Most of us know the end result in the nursery rhyme, ?Mother Hubbard?s Cupbard?-well many times we have several areas of our pantry that are bare.
Although we are part of the Pantry Pal Program there are other items that we are in need of the communities help in stocking up our shelves. Here is a list of some of the items that we frequently run out of in the pantry the most: Macaroni & Cheese, pasta, pasta sauce, soup, chili, canned tuna/chicken, peanut butter, jelly, rice, canned pasta, canned fruit, cereal, instant potatoes, and crackers. Maybe your church or organization would like to ?Adopt-a-shelf? contact Cpt. Jodi Sladek for more details.
