Inspired by God's Love

We are a welcoming church where all are invited to worship and walk together in faith.

Join Us for Worship, Fellowship and Spiritual Care

The Salvation Army of Sioux Falls welcomes you to worship with us and to support and encourage members of our community.

Whether you are grieving the loss of a loved one, struggling with financial difficulties, suffering through an illness or simply need to share your burdens, you will always find someone here who is ready to listen and offer compassionate care.

Light in the Darkness

"We've had family members who fell into hard times, and the church was there to help in many ways, whether it was food, a bed or prayers needed for health problems. I know no matter what is happening in our lives, The Salvation Army will always be there for us." - A member of The Salvation Army of Sioux Falls church

How We Share God's Love

We invite you to join us for worship, Sunday School, Bible study, Christian education and fellowship.

Sunday School  |  Sundays at 9:45 a.m.

Worship  |  Sundays at 10:45 a.m.

Bible Study  |  Tuesdays from 6-7 p.m.

Men's and Women's Ministries  |  Tuesdays from 7:15-8:15 p.m.
Fellowship is an important part of spiritual health, which is why we offer the opportunity for men and women to come together to connect with one another, serve together and encourage each other.

Character Building Programs  |  Wednesdays from 6-7 p.m. following our youth dinner at 5:30 p.m.
Our character building programs offer the opportunity for kids to develop strong communication and leadership skills, grow their minds, and explore God's Word, all while having fun and connecting with their peers. They include the following:

  • Sunbeams - girls in first through fifth grades
  • Girl Guards - girls in sixth through 12th grade
  • Adventure Corps - boys in first through fifth grades
  • Boy Scouts - boys in sixth through 12th grade

Junior Soldiers  |  Sundays from 10:45 a.m. - noon
The aim of the Junior Soldier program (for youth age 7-14) is to ensure that children age 7-14 involved in The Salvation Army have personally received Jesus Christ as their Savior and are discipled in biblical truths, life applications and Salvation Army principles and practices. Junior Soldiers are the youngest members of The Salvation Army.

Objectives of the Junior Soldier program include:

  • development of spiritual awareness and Christian character
  • increased knowledge of the Bible
  • knowledge of Salvation Army history, principles and practices
  • opportunities for leadership and participation in service projects

Corps Cadets  |  Tuesdays from 6-7 p.m.
Youth between the ages of 13 and 18 who are enrolled as Junior or Senior Soldiers are invited to participate in this training program and discipleship course focusing on spiritual growth, leadership development, growing their knowledge of Salvation Army history and evangelism training.
