Siouxland Salvation Army Continues to Provide Flood-Relief Assistance

Apr 22, 2019

The Siouxland Salvation Army Corps invites people in the Sioux City area who need flood-relief supplies to stop by the Disaster Resource Center (DRC), located at the corps: 1415 Villa Avenue, Sioux City.

In addition to food, water, flood clean-up supplies and other items, those affected by the recent disaster may also be eligible for financial assistance. People seeking assistance should bring ID and an issued FEMA number to verify their application.

The DRC’s hours are Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  It is closed Saturdays and Sundays.

Donations of flood clean-up items are still being accepted at the DRC; monetary donations are also greatly appreciated.

The DRC will receive additional shipments of flood-relief supplies from Omaha this week and will continue operations until further notice.
