Read the words of those you've helped

Nov 15, 2018

This week, as we pause to give thanks, we are thankful for you - the people who support us and make our work possible.

Oftentimes when someone comes to us for help, they will write us after-the-fact to tell us how much the help meant to them.

Here are some snippets of those notes to help you see just how valuable your support is to us - and to them.

In the Words of Those You've Helped

"The help over the years has made it possible to live with dignity. Without the support in so many areas, my life would be a struggle I could not win." - Richard

"People like you are what makes the holiday season so special. Some day I wish to be able to help families just like you are doing." – Melissa

"You treated me with dignity and respect and that is what meant the most. We will not forget." – Anonymous mother

"Thank you for being here." - Brynn

"You helped me and my children in my time of need." – Regina

"Thank you for thinking of us when we were going through an unexpected period of unemployment before the holidays." – John

"Thank you for putting food on our table during tough times. My family and I are very grateful." – LeeAnn

"Praise the Lord for the wonderful folks that donate to help folks like myself. You were so kind and helpful." – Kimberly

"Thank you for all the services you have provided for myself and others." – Holly

"May God bless each one of you." – Freddy

"Thank you for going above and beyond helping me and my family throughout my illness and afterward." – Gary

"Thank you for a bed to sleep in when I didn’t have one." – Jan

"You helped us when we needed the most." – Maria
