SIMS Summit: Communicating, Collaborating & Connecting

Plan to join us for a time of collaboration with other Salvation Army staff utilizing Service Point and staff looking towards future opportunities to use Service Point.  Bowman Systems’ staff will be presenting alongside of experienced Salvation Army staff. 
Following the SIMS Summit, the Bowman Collaborate 2014 will be held on October 8-10, 2014 in Chicago, IL.

FEES:
Registration fee for Central Territory Delegates is FREE. 
Registration for other Territories is $60.00.

TRACK 1 – ADMINISTRATION- Led by Mary Wilkins

The Administration Track is for big picture thinkers who want to wrap their brains around how SIMS might enhance the mission and vision of Salvation Army Programs and Services. Participants should be prepared to engage in lively, thought provoking discussion. Social Services and Program Directors at the Territorial, Divisional, and Unit Command level may want to consider this track.

TRACK 2 – REPORTING BASICS- Led by Bowman Staff

The Reporting Track is designed for those who need to run and utilize reports from SIMS on a routine basis. If you are the person in your location who is responsible for submitting stats to DHQ or for reporting to your funders, this track will be helpful in learning how to find, run, and get what you need from SIMS.

TRACK 3 – ART TRAINING TIPS AND TRICKS- Led by Bowman Staff

Are you in a program with unique reporting needs? Do you have a service point adhoc ART license that allows you write reports? The ART Training Track is for those who want to enhance their knowledge of the Advanced Reporting Tool and their report writing skills.

TRACK 4– FUND MANAGER- Led by Bowman Staff- - Led by Bowman Staff

Is grant compliance important to you? Do you want to have tighter control of your assistance dollars? If you are curious about the Fund Manager Module on ServicePoint™, this track will teach you the role of the Fund Administrator, how to set up grant or corps funds for compliance and tracking on SIMS, how to set up a pre-authorization system for releasing payments, and how to utilize the reporting features in Fund Manager.
