For many kids we serve, summer does little to relieve the stress of living in poverty, an abusive home, or a troubled neighborhood. These children need a different environment to experience peace. That's why Salvation Army summer camps are so important. Kids in need can excape their surroundings, enjoy new adventures and friends, and be the happiest version of themselves.
