EQ United Doubling Red Kettle Donations
The Salvation Army of Elkhart announces a special matching gift challenge at all Elkhart-area Red Kettle locations on Saturday, December 16. Donations made at any of the eleven Red Kettle sites around the greater Elkhart area will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $1,500, thanks to a generous challenge gift by local business, EQ United.
Volunteers from EQ United as well as other families and individual will be out ringing bells on Saturday. The Salvation Army of Elkhart appreciates the financial support as well as all those who take time to ring bells.
Red kettles can be found at Elkhart Walmart, Kroger, Martin’s Supermarkets and Hobby Lobby locations. Along with cash, donors will also be able to donate using a QR code, and at limited kettle sites, a Tip Tap machine that allows you to “tap” your debit or credit card for one of the pre-set donation amounts. Additionally, donations can be made to the Virtual Red Kettle.
Donations support year-round programs and emergency assistance benefiting those in need in Elkhart and the northern half of Elkhart County.
