GREAT LAKES ENERGY PEOPLE FUND PROVIDES COPIER FOR NEW COMMUNITY CENTER

Oct 21, 2024

The Salvation Army of Petoskey’s programs and services are running smoothly thanks to the new efficient, dependable copier/printer/scanner that was provided by Great Lakes Energy’s People Fund grant award of $5,000. The new machine is the central unit used by staff for all programs, services, reporting, media and more. Without the ability to scan, print and submit required documentation, The Salvation Army would not be able to operate or provide many desperately needed programs and services for our neighbors.

The Community Center is the central hub of operations for all Salvation Army programs and services for Emmet, Charlevoix and Antrim Counties. Programs and services include hot meals, meal deliveries to mobility impaired, food pantry, child and senior programs, family self-sufficiency programs addiction recovery support meetings, holiday assistance and emergency financial assistance that provides rent, heat, electricity and more for struggling local families.

The Salvation Army of Petoskey helps many individuals and families year-round. To give, please visit SAPetoskey.org online and click on “Donate Now” or send checks to The Salvation Army of Petoskey’s Community Center office located at 2350 Mitchell Park Drive, Petoskey, MI 49770.
