THE SALVATION ARMY OF PETOSKEY TO RECEIVE NEW COMPUTERS
THE SALVATION ARMY OF PETOSKEY TO RECEIVE NEW COMPUTERS THANKS TO GREAT LAKES ENERGY PEOPLE FUND
Great Lakes Energy People Fund provided The Salvation Army of Petoskey with $4,600.00 to help replace primary computers needed to operate essential community service programs for those in need. Critical service programs include Emergency Financial Assistance and Food, Holiday Assistance, After School and more.
“It is imperative that our staff have equipment that keeps up with today’s technology to ensure efficiency and accuracy; especially when dealing with time-sensitive payments to keep families from running out of gas to heat their homes, getting their power turned off or getting evicted” says Envoy, Greg Irwin.
Members of Great Lakes Energy support the People Fund by voluntarily rounding up their bills to the next highest dollar. The rounded up amount is distributed to non-profit organizations and charitable activities that benefit people in the communities served by the cooperative. Please contact Great Lakes Energy, 1-888-485-2537 or visit gtlakes.com for details.
The Salvation Army’s mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. If you need help, or would like to learn more about The Salvation Army of Petoskey’s ministries, programs or services, please visit SAPetoskey.org or call (231)347-3531.
