About Salvation Army Missions

We have a missions team of 9 individuals traveling to St. Lucia from July 25 - August 4, 2023! They'll be working with The Salvation Army Corps located there with construction projects and their Children's Vacation Bible School Program.

Why do you go to other Salvation Army Corps to help?

Our vision for missions is to create an experience for our donors, volunteers, and staff that encompasses our mission to "Do the Most Good" in collaboration with another Salvation Army Corps. The Salvation Army Corps we work with could be in the United States or in other countries, like St. Lucia.

Why?

We go on mission trips to create an experience for our volunteers, donors, and staff that encompasses our mission to "Do the Most Good" in collaboration with another Salvation Army Corps. True success would be to create goals from the following strategies and execute them in His Name:

  • Creative Worship
  • Discipleship
  • Service

Mission Trip Goals

One of our Mission Trip goals is to help with any construction projects needed by the Corps. In St. Lucia, we will focus on retiling the chapel floor and painting.

Our other other is to lead a week-long Vacation Bible School with the local children. The theme is centered around "And I Can Go and Tell," which means to teach them about the love of Jesus and the Bible so they can share the message with others.

Who?

The Salvation Army Fox Cities Corps gathered a group of 9 individuals made of staff, volunteers, and donors to collaborate and serve others where needed with The Salvation Army Corps in St. Lucia.

We will work with other Salvation Army Corps staff, volunteers, and church members and with the children living in the community served by Salvation Army St. Lucia.
