Pathway of Hope: Breaking the Cycle of Crisis

Jun 17, 2024

The Salvation Army Fox Cities is dedicated to helping families break free from the cycle of crisis and achieve long-term stability. Our Pathway of Hope program provides a structured, supportive environment for families with children, offering them the tools and resources needed to build a brighter future.

What is Pathway of Hope?

Pathway of Hope is a strengths-based program designed to assist families in overcoming the barriers they face in achieving self-sufficiency. The program focuses on helping families set and achieve goals related to:

Housing Stability: Ensuring families have safe, stable housing.

Financial Independence: Teaching money management skills and helping families build savings.

Employment: Assisting with job training and employment opportunities.

Health and Well-Being: Providing access to healthcare and promoting healthy lifestyles.

Education: Supporting children’s educational needs and parents’ efforts to further their education.

How It Works

Families in the Pathway of Hope program work closely with a dedicated case manager to develop a personalized plan of action. This plan includes setting specific, achievable goals and identifying the steps needed to reach them. The case manager provides ongoing support and resources, helping families navigate challenges and celebrate successes.

Program Features:

Case Management: One-on-one support to help families stay on track with their goals.

Resource Coordination: Connecting families with community resources such as healthcare, education, and employment services.

Skill Building: Workshops and training sessions to develop essential life skills.

Emotional and Spiritual Support: Providing counseling and spiritual guidance to help families build resilience.
