We fight poverty with love Image

We fight poverty with love

By providing programs that serve the body, mind and soul, The Salvation Army helps alleviate the symptoms of poverty - and works to address the root issues that cause it.

Helping others as Christ would

We show the love of Christ to our neighbors in need by providing for their needs through our various programs, such as our Noon Meal Program and Food Pantry, and many more. We want to break the cycle of poverty and help our neighbors in need get back on their feet.

How we help overcome poverty

The Salvation Army's ministry is motivated by the love of God. Our mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
