A brief collection of the services offered on-site at 130 E North St. Appleton, WI 54911

Who Qualifies? 

If you live in the Fox Cities service area and need food, you qualify. 

How Do I Sign Up? 

Please come to 130 E North St. between 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM Monday through Friday. You will come to the front desk, and they will collect necessary information (household size, preferences, etc.) and set up a meeting with our Pantry Intake Case Worker. You will meet with them on the same day and be able to receive food afterward at our on-site pantry. 

What Do I Need? 

Foor food only, no documentation is required. 

What will I get? 

Our volunteers pre-package your pantry items for you to pick up and take with you as soon as you arrive at the pantry. No items are guaranteed. You may receive dairy, produce, meat, and shelf-stable items, depending on donations and quantities. You are welcome to look through your bags and return items you will not use, but they will not be replaced. 

How Often Can I Get Food? 

You can come to the pantry twice a month. 

There Is A Table With Items On It. Can I Take What I Want? 

To grab the items on the "free tables," you will need to meet with the caseworker to qualify for the hygiene portion of the pantry. You will need a valid ID and proof of address.

Will I Get Hygiene Items, Paper Products, Diapers, Pet Food, or Anything Outside of Food For Myself? 

For food-only pantry sign-ups, you will not receive non-consumable items or food related to animals, babies, etc. Please see the food + Hygiene tab for more information.

If you live in the Fox Cities service area and need food or hygiene items, have a valid form of ID, and proof of residence, you qualify. If you are applying for more than just yourself, you must bring verification of each family member in your household (birth certificate, ID, etc.).

You will meet with them on the same day and be able to receive food afterward at our on-site pantry. 

What Do I Need? 

To apply for food and hygiene items, you will need a valid form of ID for each member of your household as well as proof of address. 

What will I get?

No items are guaranteed. You may receive dairy, produce, meat, and shelf-stable items, depending on donations and quantities. When you check in at the front desk, the ladies will ask you what two items you would like for the month. They will provide options based on what is in stock, but it may include tampons/pads, body wash, shampoo, deodorant, diapers, lotion, laundry soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and more. 

There Is A Table With Items On It. Can I Take What I Want? 

If you are approved to receive hygiene items, you are welcome to take things off the "free tables" as noted on the tables. 

How Often Can I Get Hygiene Items? 

You can ask for two hygiene items once a month. 

The Salvation Army - Fox Cities can provide bus passes for two purposes. 

Health/Medical Appointments: Please bring proof of appointment to be given a bus pass. 

Job/Work: Please bring proof of job. We are unable to provide bus passes for interviews or any job-related things without proof of employment. 

Our Noon Meal Program is free to anyone; no sign-in or registration is required. Lunch is served 7 days a week from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Doors will not open before 11:30 AM. 

Meals will be hot M- F, and a bagged lunch Sat- Sun. 

Please note: The Salvation Army - Fox Cities is not able to provide immediate housing assistance. Please work with the city or Pillars to get on the Coordinated Entry List. 

If you are in a position to lose your home due to financial reasons that can be addressed in 3-12 months, please call our main line and ask for the Housing Retention Case Worker.
