Ministering through Youth Programs since 1971

Gateway Citadel Salvation Army Community Center runs on the principle that spiritual programs are not just for adults. Not only do we have quality, low cost before and after school programming conducted in a Christian environment, but specific weekly Christian Character Building programs for children ages 4-17... and that is just the tip of the Iceberg.

Character Building

Building spiritual and physical maturity in children ages 4-17 through Moonbeams (grades Pre K -K), Sunbeams (girls grades 1-5), Girl Guards (girls grades 6-12), Explorers (boys grades 1-5) and Rangers (boys grades 6-12).

How we help empower youth

Since its very beginning, The Salvation Army has taken the spiritual and physical care of young people as seriously as those of our adult participants and members. Not only do we have a tailor made Social Service Program for families called Pathway of Hope, but here at Gateway Citadel we have a whole range of children's spiritual and community center programming.
