Legendary Packers Fullback to Golf with Lucky Winner at Salvation Army Golf Outing
The winner will be chosen on August 30
MILWAUKEE – The Salvation Army of Milwaukee County will host its annual golf fundraiser, “Swing Fore The Kettle,” with celebrity golfer John Kuhn on September 16 at The Wisconsin Country Club.
The legendary Green Bay Packers fullback, and now iHeart radio host, will golf with the winning donor of an exciting drawing, which is now live at https://salarmy.us/GolfWithJohnKuhn.
“Every $50 donation gives you one entry into a drawing for you and two guests to play nine holes as part of John Kuhn's foursome,” said Major Beverly Gates, Commander for The Salvation Army of Milwaukee County. “Donations larger than $50 will receive an entry in $50 increments, so the bigger the donation, the more entries to win!”
This drawing is sponsored by the Wauwatosa Lions Club and will end on August 30, 2024.
“It's always a pleasure to get out on the course, especially for a great cause like The Salvation Army,” Kuhn said. “The Swing Fore the Kettle event is a fantastic opportunity to give back to the community and enjoy some friendly competition."
Golf outing highlights include premium silent auction items, a putting green contest, and a Beat the Golf Pro challenge.
“This is our largest fundraiser of the year, outside red kettles at Christmas,” Gates said. “Proceeds will fund our children's programming initiatives in Milwaukee County, such as the Feed the Kids program, Backpack and School supplies program, and programming for children at the Emergency Lodge homeless shelter.”
Sponsorships are still available, and donations are being accepted. Purchase tickets, and sponsorships, or donate at https://salarmy.us/sftk24register.
