Anabel’s Story

When the pandemic hit, Anabel’s husband’s nail salon was shut down. Then the money ran out and hopelessness set in. Anabel didn’t know where to turn until a quick Google search led her to the front door of her local Salvation Army Community Center.

There she received emergency rent and food assistance. Through the support she received from the Pathway of Hope program, Anabel is finishing her technical certification and preparing for a brand new career.
