The Salvation Army Mighty Krocs Swim Club Meet Simone Manuel and Steve Harvey

The Mighty Krocs met their hero, Simone Manuel, the first African-American woman to win a gold medal in individual swimming, at Steve Harvey's premiere show taping. After a heartwarming video of the swim team thanking Simone for her iconic win, the kids ran on stage to surprise her. Backstage, Simone let the kids hold her medals and told them to "go for the gold." These are words the swim team will train by and always remember.
