How we help empower youth
The Salvation Army operates youth programs in low and moderate income neighborhoods across the Duluth area. These programs provide children with a safe place to play and learn in a supervised and constructive environment. The Salvation Army will continue to make an effort in the local communities to provide these learning opportunities.
Rookie Basketball Association
The Rookie Basketball association is a youth basketball league for boys and girls in Duluth, Minn., that teaches team building and equal participation while developing on-court skills. Read more information.
Youth Ministry Programming
These programs offer fun and fellowship for boys and girls. Wednesday youth programming during the school year includes Bible Study, music, crafts and dinner (youth programming times).
