The Salvation Army provides spiritual services to anyone God brings across our path.
Motivated by the love of God, as a leader in Christian faith-based human services, The Salvation Army is committed to serve the whole person, body, soul and spirit with integrity and respect, using creative solutions to positively transform lives.
I just want to thank you for the wonderful memories of Silver Lake Camp. I think they made a difference in my life. The camp experiences helped me a lot when I became a grown-up. … I am now 90 years old, and sweet memories are very sweet.
The purpose of Northwoods Camp is to bring campers into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. Every day of camp includes morning and afternoon worship services led by Salvation Army officers (pastors) or guest speakers. Northwoods Camp is a perfect venue to preach the gospel because campers are set apart from the stresses of home life and can witness firsthand the miracle of God’s creation.
Services & Ministries
For some kids, it's their first time exploring their faith and that is OK. Northwoods Camp is like an interactive Bible, where kids get to see and touch everything our counselors teach them about God's creation and His promise of salvation. From the petting zoo with llamas, pigs and horses to our swimming park and ropes course, it's all mixed with entertaining Bible lessons and an electrifying music ministry.
Our Church's Vision
We will meet regularly throughout the day to worship our one true God, welcome everyone who enters our doors with the love of Christ, actively pursue lasting relationships, and build God’s kingdom one person at a time by providing learning opprotunities that flow out of hearts filled with grace.
