The Salvation Army offers worship services every Sunday morning and evening at Rockford Temple Corps. Sunday School sessions for children and adults are offered before services at 9:15 a.m. Worship is held in English (Spanish and French also available) at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday services at Rockford Tabernacle are held at 11:00 a.m.

Reading the Bible and discussing the lessons and applications in today's world is an important part of fellowship and drawing closer to God. Bible studies and fellowship are available at both The Salvation Army Corps Community Centers in Rockford.

Ministry groups are hosted by each of the Corps Community Centers to provide opportunities for spiritual growth, mentorship, and fellowship. The groups plan projects, events, retreats, and experiences to improve their communities, and promote a closeness to God.

The Salvation Army is the largest music educator in the world, and uses music in praise and worship. There are numerous classes offered and a musical ensemble dedicated to gospel arts. Click here to make music with us.

• The Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments were given by inspiration of God, and that they only constitute the Divine rule of Christian faith and practice.

• Continuance in a state of salvation depends upon continued obedient faith in Christ.
• It is the privilege of all believers to be wholly sanctified, and that their whole spirit and soul and body may be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
• In the immortality of the soul, the resurrection of the body, in the general judgment at the end of the world, in the eternal happiness of the righteous, and in the endless punishment of the wicked.
