How We Empower Youth
Youth Night | Wednesdays 5-7 p.m., including dinner
Our program meets every Wednesday evening during the school year where kids in kindergarten through 12th grade enjoy dinner together, fun Bible lessons, and participate in activity clubs. Examples of clubs include: Video Games, Book Club, Geocaching, Baking, Science. These programs offer them the opportunity to develop strong communication and leadership skills, grow their minds, and explore God's Word, all while having fun and connecting with their peers.

Summer Overnight Camps
Kids and teens in first through 12th grades are offered the opportunity to enroll in overnight camps each summer at The Salvation Army's Western Plains Camp in South Sioux City. These camps offer kids the opportunity to experience nature, connect with others and develop leadership skills. Themed weeks like Music Camp, Teen Camp and Outdoor Camp are also available throughout the summer.
Summer Day Camp 2024 | June 4 - July 25, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; 9:00 a.m.-5 p.m.
Children going into first grade through sixth grade (not to exceed 11 years old) can join us for a safe place to play games, do arts and crafts, and play outside. Lunch and snacks are also included.
Teen Night | 4th Friday of the month
Teen Night is available for those 12 & up. Teens have a short Bible lesson, do activities such as video games, movies, etc., go on outings, and enjoy snacks together.
Baby Song | New Session Starting Fall 2024
8 Week Session meeting every Tuesday at 11 a.m.
Baby Song is a Salvation Army outreach program for babies, toddlers and their parents. Baby Song provides opportunities for:
- parents to assist their babies in language development and interaction through music
- babies to experience developmentally appropriate songs, activities and games
- parents to build relationships with other parents
- parents to gain parenting tips and information
- the church to reach out into the community.

Meet Our Team:
Tiffany Lines (Youth Director):
Tiffany is our Youth Director and Community Center Coordinator at the Salvation Army of Siouxland. She has been involved with the Salvation Army since birth. She has always been involved in Salvation Army programming, but just recently returned to the church along with my husband Cory Lines, who is the Facility Director at Western Plains Salvation Army Camp.
Tiffany and Cory have been married for 3 years and don’t have any children yet, but do have one spoiled puppy named Pike! Pike is a 5-year-old Leopard dog mixed with American Bull dog.
