How we help equip families

Helping a family thrive starts by ensuring their basic needs are met, then walking alongside them on the path out of poverty. Our Pathway of Hope program does just that, through long-term case management for families with children under the age of 18. We also come alongside families by providing space for them to do life together at our Detroit Temple community center. Families receive the physical, emotional and spiritual support they need through our programs to foster better, brighter futures together. For children, this includes our after-school program, a safe place to play, summer camp, and more. For adults, this includes help with utility payments, a food pantry, free hot meals, and fellowship opportunities through our Men's, Women's, and Senior's Ministries.

We also have family centered activities, including:

Family Fun Night

Family Fun Night takes place the 3rd Friday of each month from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Activities include movies, board games, karaoke, food, fellowship, and more.

Hot Meals

We offer a free hot meal on the 4th Sunday of each month.
