How we partner with adults
We partner with adults by connecting them with tools and resources to help them through any life struggle. Our opportunities and services give people a whole army of support so they know they're not alone.
Pathway of Hope
The Pathway of Hope is a holistic approach to working with families where caseworkers, instead of providing one time assistance, help people realize their interests and support them in identifying and achieving their goals through a well-defined timeline. We help families break away from the cycle of generational poverty and equip them with the tools and resources they need to reach their goals for a better future. DTE Assistance
We offer utility payment assistance on a case-by-case basis. If you need to apply for help, contact Brenda Blackman at 313-897-2914 or Brenda.Blackman@usc.salvationarmy.org.
Weekly Opportunities for Adults
Bible Study
Monday
6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. - Praise Team Rehearsal
Wednesday
5:30 p.m. - Intercessory Prayer (all ages)
6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. (for adults)
Prayer Meeting
We hold a Prayer meeting weekly on Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., followed by Youth and Adult Bible Study.
Women's Ministries
Women's Ministries meets Monday from 2:00 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. Join us for activities, arts & crafts, fellowship, and more.
Men's Ministries
Men's Ministries meets on the second and fourth Sunday's of each month following our Sunday Service. We invite you to join us for both.
Seniors' Ministries
Seniors' Ministries coincides with Women's Ministries. Please join us each Monday from 2:00 p.m. - 3:45 p.m.
Food Pantry
We open our food pantry on Thursday's from 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome.
Space Rental
We have a full-sized gym with basketball nets, a fellowship hall, and a fully equipped industrial kitchen that are available to rent most of the year. Please call 313-897-2914 to rent one of our spaces.
