How we help fight for justice

We offer several programs to help our neighbors in Whitley County get a hand up, not just a hand out. Our programs are geared to meet the need before it comes to us, to help individuals and families through a rough time, and to get them tools and skills to improve their situations where they can pay forward the blessings.

Moving on Up
Life skills classes that focus on areas such as Nutrition, Resume Building, Education, Budgeting, Gardening, and more. These areas are pinpointed to make an impact on the client's daily life. The classes are offered at no charge and are taught in conjunction with our local Purdue Extension office.

Utility Assistance
We offer assistance depending on circumstances, once per every 12 months for utility bills only. Qualifications are based on bill amount, if it's already disconnected, previous utility help, residency, and proof of income.

Whitley Worx Shoe and Clothing assistance.
If there is a need for assistance with getting specific clothing or shoes for employers, we may be able to help.  Proof of need from the employer is needed.
