Behind the Shield: Tracy Habermehl, Divisional Property Administrator

Tracy Habermehl is the Divisional Property Administrator at The Salvation Army of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan (the Divisional Headquarters) in Wauwatosa. She has worked for the organization for over 21 years. In her job, she is responsible for all of The Salvation Army's buildings within the Division. There are approximately 100 buildings that she is in charge of upkeep, maintenance, construction, sale and purchasing of buildings. Learn more about Tracy below:

Q. How did you first learn about Salvation Army?
A. I had to relocate and the Oak Creek Corps was in the backyard - wanted to check it out.

Q. What is your favorite part about working at Salvation Army?
A. We do meaningful things every day that help people.

Q. What is one thing you believe the world should know about Salvation Army?
A. We do so much more than ring bells at Christmas time.

Q. What is your favorite project to work on?
A. I really enjoy working with the officers in other locations.  Learning what they're doing and helping them in any way I can.
